Western Union wall clock, 1940s

Western Union: a very grand and unusual brass-cased Western Union office wall clock with a painted dial, of large proportions, the clock with original movement made by the Self Winding Clock Co., New York.

The clock is in excellent condition and although originally it would have been wired-in, the original power unit has been sensibly upgraded to now run on modern, everyday batteries. American, circa 1940s.

Diameter: 17 inches (43 cm), depth 5 inches (13 cm).
