Buhler of Switzerland for Swissair

An early and desirable chromed agency desk ashtray in the form of a Douglas DC-3 with red enamel detail to the tail. The plane is fully adjustable and set on a swept cantilevered arm over the ashtray, which has its original black glass removable liner with two moulded cigarette rests. The front of the tray bears the earliest Swissair logo. Stamped BUHLER to the underside. Swiss, circa 1937.
