Sterling silver jewellery boxes, circa 1925

A highly unusual Art Deco box of grand scale, featuring profuse modelling of bamboo trees, and leaves to all sides, with a group of graduating bamboo acting as the four feet. The interior has been contemporarily relined as a jewellery box, with rich chocolate velvet for the lining, with padded sides, and cushions and a lift out tray. Chinese, circa 1925.

A Chinese silver Art Deco box, with heavy repoussé detailing of exotic birds perching in a bamboo tree, with finely detailed branches and leaves, with a central cartouche to the lid, the interior completely relined as a jewellery box in Chocolate silk velvet, with padded sides and lid. Chinese, circa 1925.
