A very stylish Victorian Sterling silver spirit decanter in the form of a barrel, with coopered sides and standing on a simulated wooden stand, and removable bung to the top removable for filling, the spirit ‘dispensed’ via a silver tap to one end.
Bearing English hallmarks for 1877.
Length: 7 inches (18 cm)
Height: 7½ inches (19 cm)
Silver weight: 25.5 oz. (791 gm.).
