‘Scottie Dog’ salts by Gallia, 1930s

A very stylish pair of Art Deco ‘salts’ in the form of ‘Scottie Dogs’, (the breed otherwise known at the ‘Art Deco’ dogs, due to their angular anatomy), the main bodies in silvered bronze, the liners in clear glass, the spoons in silver, with marks of GALLIA to the base on one of the frames, the pair in their original Gallia box with stramped silk lining.

Dimensions: Length of each dog 3½ inches (9 cms).
