A large presentation desk piece mounted with a silver-plated Schneider Trophy seaplane of 6 inch (15 cm) wingspan with rotating propeller. The seaplane marked ‘Rolls-Royce Motors Ltd’ under the left wing. English, circa 1920s. Bearing engraved presentation plaque;
‘Presented to – Miss B.A.Leadbetter – By Her Colleagues at Fort Dunlop – On the Occasion of Her Marriage – July 28th 1928’.
Diameter of base: 8 inches (21 cm).
