Prinetti & Stucchi (1851-1908): ‘Unica Grande Fabbrica Italiana Milano’. Very early, original poster, framed in a plain, silver leaf frame, and glazed. Italian, circa 1890s.

Dimensions: 18½ inches (47 cms) x 26 inches (66 cms).

Additional Notes: Prinetti & Stucchi (established 1883 in Milano) was an Italian maker of sewing machines, bicycles and motorized vehicles, established in Milano. It was owned by engineers and politicians Augusto Stucchi and Giulio Prinetti (1851-1908). Bicycles fames were started in 1898 with the crafting of motored tricycles and quadricycles, employing the Milanese Ettore Bugatti to create the Tipo 1, a motorized tricycle utilizing two De Dion engines and a Rochet-Schneider frame. Mr Bugatti also participated in the Targa Rignano in a quadricycle (1900).
