A rare, large-format original Art Deco poster. Swiss, dated 1927. Framed to edge in a plain, black oak frame with slip.

Overall size: 51 x 37 inches (130 x 94 cm).

The Motosacoche Company was founded in 1899 by Henri and Armand Defaux in Geneva, Switzerland and went onto become one of Europe’s largest motorcycle manufacturers. The company was best known for its MAG (Motosacoche Acacias Genève) engine, used by many other motorcycle manufacturers in Europe at the beginning of the last century.
