An original ink and watercolour study of feminine strength by René Vincent, renowned poster artist, fashion illustrator and perhaps most importantly, motoring enthusiast – Vincent was so enamored of the motorcar he was one of the first people in France to hold a driving licence, and the house he designed in 1911 in Paris’ chic 16th arrondisement was the first in the city to boast an integral garage.

Vincent’s works – whether automotive or fashion – are imbued with a sense of living and high style, a personal philosophy which Vincent followed all his life.

Framed and glazed with a stepped mount.

Size: 19 x 18 inches (49 x 46 cms).
