Dexter Brown (English, born 1942)

The unique original artwork for the famous limited-edition poster published by our sister gallery Pullman Editions Ltd. Painted in gouache on art board, this original artwork is supplied mounted and unframed.

Bruce McLaren, seen here in the background in his Cooper-Climax took pride of place on the podium in the 1962 Formula 1 race, where Phil Hill’s ‘shark-nose’ Ferrari was runner up, and Lorenzo Bandini’s car placed third. Pictured far in the background is the Hotel Miramar, now, alas, no more.

This unique, one-off artwork is sold strictly without copyright.

Artwork size: 30 x 20½ inches (76 x 52 cm)

Please note: this original artwork is signed, but is without any text, as this was overlaid for creation of the poster.
