A Modernist mid-century table wine bottle holder and pourer in the style of Jacques Adnet (French, 1901-1984), the sculptural and angular silver-plated frame has an inclined ‘spine’ which acts as the handle, and the bottle is secured by loops at the top and base. Stamped with a makers mark to the plinth. French, circa 1950s.

Hermès, Paris: a stylish pair of Sterling silver wine or Champagne bottle coasters by Hermès, each with engine turning to the interiors and a circular (vacant) cartouche to the centres. The tapered rims are each stamped HERMÈS PARIS, and bear French poinçon marks. French, circa 1950.
