Roger Broders (French 1883-1953)

Original poster, dated 1922. Conservation linen mounted and unframed.

Dimensions: 42½ x 31 inches (108 x 79 cm).

Menton is located at the eastern end of the French Riviera, right on the Italian border. It was known as the ‘citrus city‘ in the late 19th century as it had warmest climate on the French Riviera. Word soon spread and the city began to boom as a health resort.
