A highly unusual massive thick glass beer stein of conventional form with pewter cap. It is understood that this stein was one of a small group made as a display for an exhibition stand at the Exposition Universelle held in Paris in 1900.

It is said to have a capacity of 11 litres (approx 25 pints) of beer!

Height: 22½ inches (57 cms).
