J.A. Henckels ‘Zeppelin’ cocktail sets, 1920s

(Left to right) a medium sized ‘Zeppelin’ travelling cocktail shaker set, the main body is nickel-plated and highly unusual and distinctive with a hammered finish, the body acting as the cocktail shaker, the gilt-lined nose-cone removes to reveal a shaker with integral strainer/juicer and containing a hipflask with a screw cap, and the tail plane underneath functioning as a nut/olive dish with cover, a corkscrew with screw-off cover, funnel and four gilt-lined shot cups of graduating size. The undercarriage removes and contains four cocktail spoons. German, circa 1920s.
