A charming Edwardian novelty Sterling silver matched salt and pepper set in the form of Guardsmen, each figure with a buttoned jacket is holding a stylized rifle and has a removable head for filling with bearskin-style hat. Fully hallmarked Saunders & Shepherd, with registration marks and hallmarks for 1902 and 1908.
