Cohiba ashtray and cigar tubes

(Clockwise from right) Habanos S.A – Cohiba: a very grand circular white porcelain ashtray with Cohiba branding on all sides and four cigar rests, with original cardstock box and packaging. A limited-edition piece, no longer in production due to the ban in tobacco branded products which came in, in 2005. Cuban, circa early 2000.

Asprey, London: a classic Sterling silver George V-era cigar tube by Asprey, with a lift-off cap, plain body and gilt-lined interior. Stamped ASPREY LONDON to the base and hallmarks for 1910.

Hermès, Paris: a beautifully stylish Macassar wood cigar tube capable of carrying a single ‘Lonsdale’ sized cigar (eg. Montecristo Number 1 or similar). The figured wooded body with a central stitched leather band, blind embossed HERMÈS PARIS, and to one end a Sterling silver disk or cartouche, vacant and ready for engraving. French, circa 1970s.
