A very stylish letter opener or paperknife in the form of a ceremonial sword, the outer chrome-plated sheath removing to reveal the blade with applied HERMES signature, with black lacquer handle and embellished brass hand-guard. Bespoke fitted grey leather presentation box. French, circa 1950s.
