A very stylish metal railway or ‘Totem’ sign for Brooklands Station, with original burgundy enamel paintwork and aged patina, fitted within an ebonized hardwood frame.
The fixings on this example indicate this is an early version of the signage, circa 1950, as in later years the fixings changed to prevent vandals from stealing them.
Overall size: 39 x 13 inches (100 x 33 cm).
