Clark & Sewell: a stylish Sterling silver cigarette case, the front with a hand painted panel on the front depicting a scantily clad lady reclining on a roulette game, most likely a later edition, the back heavily engine turned, the interior silver gilt and bearing Chester hallmarks for Clark & Sewell dated 1883.

A fine and stylish Sterling silver and enamel cigarette case, the front enamelled with a French or European style (single zero only) roulette wheel, the rear with the roulette table layout, an applied gold ‘crest’ on front top left corner, the interior in silver-gilt, marked 800 with symbolic maker’s mark of a moon and crown. Dimensions: 3 inches (8 cms) square. Continental, c. 1930.

Noritake: a very stylish square ceramic ashtray with four cigarette rests, by the Japanese maker Noritake, with a gold/tan lustre glaze to each of the four edges, each side bearing within a white glazed circle an enamel design of plating cards of various suit and value. Japanese circa 1920-1930.
