Art Deco Motorcyclist bronze, 1940

A very dynamic dark-green patinated bronze of a motorcyclist at speed, circa early 1940s, the rider low and leaning into his bike, the bronze mounted on a textured sôcle, and set on a double-stepped Portoro Nero marble base.

Possibly by the sculptor G.E. Mardini, although unsigned.

Height: 9 inches (23 cm)
Depth: 6 inches (15 cm).
