(Top right) Cartier, Paris: a beautiful and extremely stylish Sterling silver and brown alligator lidded cigar box, the lid with a Sterling silver ‘buckle’ decoration running through the centre, flanked by panels of alligator. Marked CARTIER, and STERLING to the base. French, circa 1930s.

(Bottom left) London, 1904: An unusual crocodile and silver cigar case, c. 1904, the two parts expanding to allow for longer cigars, the inner sleeve with a panel made to accomodate a photograph, the front with ornate silver monogram.
