‘Cocktail shaker’ Champagne chiller

An enormous, silver-plated Champagne or wine chiller, in the form of a cocktail shaker with rope-work detailing to the cap, standing at an extraordinary 28 inches in height and most likely made as an exhibition or bar display piece, and perfectly suited as a Champagne cooler, able to contain 6 bottles and ice. American, circa 1930s.
