A very heavy gauge silver-plated cocktail shaker of ovoid form, with a circular stepped foot, and concentric details to the body and detailing to the neck. With a pierced integral strainer and wide mouth for filling. Bearing maker’s marks and date stamps for 1954 to the base. Height: 11½ inches (29 cm).

‘The Piston’ an extremely scarce model of cocktail shaker so named as it resembles a piston and cylinder, made by The International Silver Company of Meriden Connecticut in 1927. The shaker features a generous 48 oz capacity, and a green Bakelite finial cap top the lid. Height: 12 inches (30 cm)

A tall silver plated shaker of ‘party size’ designed by Rogers Brothers for their Arcadia line of bar ware, in 1927. The tall oval body has a 52 oz capacity and each element of the piece is stamped with the patent date of January 11th, 1927. Height: 13 inches (33 cm) tall.
