A stylish bronze sculpture of a cross-country skier, ploughing through the snow, well-detailed including 1920’s skiing costume, skis and sticks, on an inclined figured bronze socle, mounted on a veined black and grey marbled plinth, monogrammed ‘A.B 1927’ in the bronze (probably Armin Bieber, Swiss 1892-1970). Swiss, 1927.
Length: overall 80 cm (31 inches) & height 50cm (20 inches).
