An extremely scarce presentation bronze depicting the famous M.G.‘Magic Midget’ at speed, with stylized flashes coming from the wheels. The patinated bronze is set on a textured sôcle, and is mounted on its original hardwood base, bearing a bronze plaque engraved with the M.G. logo, and inscribed ‘This little bronze is to commemorate the attainment of a speed of 118.38 mph. by Capt.
G.E.T. Eyston on the world’s fastest baby car the M.G. Midget on Pendine Sands’

Length: 10 inches (26 cm)

Only a handful of these charming bronzes are known. They were commissioned by the M.G. factory in extremely limited numbers and presented to significant people connected with the record attempt. This example remained in the family of an M.G. employee and is only the second example that we have seen.
