Silvered bronze medallion by Ch. Pillet, 1900

A finely detailed, silvered bronze medallion depicting a naked female figure swathed in a diaphanous robe, at the wheel of a very early automobile, the background comprising a rural forest scene with mountains in the background, the reverse with typical Art Nouveau detailing, and a vacant cartouche, indicating the medallion was never issued, signed Ch. Pillet, French, circa 1900, in original red presentation box.
