A powerful example of the model maker’s art in the form of a Jaguar ‘C’ Type, meticulously detailed in metal, leather and wood, with bonnet with leather straps, the body in aluminium with brass accents, with spoked wheels and spinners, Jaguar ‘badge’, intricate dashboard instrumentation, leather seats dashboard, the whole mounted on a black lacquered plinth. Of modern manufacture, approximately 1/5 scale, 1/1.

Length of plinth 40 inches (100 cms) & width 18 inches (45 cms).

Additional Notes: The Jaguar C-Type (also called the Jaguar XK120-C) is a racing sports car built by Jaguar and sold from 1951 to 1953. The ‘C’ designation stood for ‘competition’.The car used the running gear of the contemporary XK120 in a lightweight tubular frame and aerodynamic aluminium body. A total of 52 C-Types were built.
