After the Cunard Line’s Queen Mary beat the Normandie’s speed records in August 1938, the French promoted her, as here, as ‘the world’s most perfect ship,’ since she was no longer the fastest. The poster was printed for the British market. Conservation linen mounted, framed and glazed.
