‘Ours Polaire’
A delightful pair of heavy cast, Art Deco silvered bronze bookends of two stylized polar bears with engraved details in standing poses, reminiscent of the style of sculptor François Pompon (French, 1855-1933), each bear set on a figured, right-angle marble plinth. French, circa 1930s.
